Beate Balser becomes the Commercial Managing Director of 307 Production.

Simone Höller strengthens the management team at 307 Production by appointing Beate Balser as Commercial Managing Director. Balser has been Head of Production at the company, which is part of the Studio Hamburg Production Group, since 2023.

307 Production is expanding its management board: from now on, Beate Balser and Simone Höller will jointly lead the company. While Höller remains responsible for the creative division, Balser will take over commercial management.

Balser has been a permanent member of the 307 Production team since 2023, where she oversees productions such as the ARD series Lost in Fuseta, Zwei Frauen für alle Felle, and Morden auf Öd.

Balser studied sociology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and discovered her passion for film early on. She has worked as a Head of Production since 1990, combining creative vision with the practical demands of filmmaking.

Under her supervision, more than 200 productions have been completed—from successful series such as Rosamunde Pilcher and international Barbara Wood adaptations to award-winning stand-alone films produced in Germany and around the world. Together with Simone Höller, she has realized outstanding and multiple award-winning productions including Das weiße Kaninchen, Ramstein, and Weil du mir gehörst.

Since 2023, Beate Balser has contributed her experience and expertise to 307 Production, where she oversees all productions from a commercial perspective. With her long-standing experience, organizational talent, and in-depth professional knowledge, she is a reliable and valued contact for all aspects of film production.
