"Finally Friday on ARD": In "ENTFÜHREN FÜR ANFÄNGER" (Kidnapping for Beginners), Andrea Sawatzki and Christian Berkel once again joined forces in front of the camera for ARD Degeto.

After the two audience successes, “Scheidung für Anfänger” (Divorce for Beginners) and “Sportabzeichen für Anfänger” (Sports Badge for Beginners), Andrea Sawatzki and Christian Berkel returned to the leading roles for a new episode of the turbulent comedy series produced by ARD Degeto. Under the direction of Hans Hofer, based on a screenplay by the award-winning author Christian Jeltsch, the final scenes for the film “ENTFÜHREN FÜR ANFÄNGER” (Kidnapping for Beginners) were shot on December 7th in Cologne for the time slot “Endlich Freitag im Ersten” (Finally Friday on ARD). The kidnapping of Evelyn Moser, the wife of the famous plastic surgeon Rob Moser, was meticulously planned. However, kidnapper Adam Lansky finds the operation completely going awry, and “disaster” ensues…

In addition to Andrea Sawatzki as Evelyn Moser, also known in society as “the Beauty Face Moser,” and Christian Berkel as the impeccably correct chief accountant Adam Lansky, the comedy features Fritz Karl as plastic surgeon Rob Moser and Jasmin Schwiers as his press spokesperson Meggy in prominent roles. Other cast members include Fritz Karl, Jasmin Schwiers, Shadi Hedayati, Hedi Honert, Michelle Barthel, and as a guest appearance, Isabel Varell. Filming took place in Cologne and the surrounding area since November 7th.

Plot: The accountant Adam (Christian Berkel) can hardly believe it: shortly before his 40th anniversary with the Moser family beauty business, his boss Rob (Fritz Karl) prematurely sends him into retirement. Soon, AI takes over his job! To get back at the beauty guru, Adam kidnaps his wife and famous brand face, Evelyn (Andrea Sawatzki). Unfortunately, Rob has no intention of paying a ransom for her. On the contrary, the vain plastic surgeon wants to rejuvenate his love life with the 29-year-old beauty model Lene (Hedi Honert) and is even grateful to the kidnapper! When Evelyn makes it clear to Adam that without her help, he won’t get the desired money or come out of the situation unscathed, the two team up. With a bold plan, they aim to empty Rob’s offshore accounts.

“ENTFÜHREN FÜR ANFÄNGER” (Kidnapping for Beginners) is a production by 307 production on behalf of ARD Degeto for ARD. Directed by Hans Hofer from a screenplay by Christian Jeltsch. Stephan Schuh was behind the camera. Simone Höller is the producer, with Anemone Krüzner as the producer and Cara Wiemann as the junior producer.
